Naturally, she didn&#8217;t didn&#8217;t disappoint&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prep 1 hour, plus overnight Serves 10\u201312<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">125g dark chocolate<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">125g milk chocolate<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">90g butter<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">150g caster sugar<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3 eggs<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1\u00bd tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1 tsp instant coffee<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1\u00bd tbsp vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6 traditional Greek kourabiethes, broken into chunks<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">100g pistachio kernels, lightly toasted<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">45g whole almonds, toasted<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1 cup plain halva, roughly diced<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1 cup dried figs, roughly chopped<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00bd cup rose-flavoured loukoumi (Greek Delight), chopped icing sugar, for rolling<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Start this recipe a day ahead.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Melt the chocolates together in a bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bowl doesn\u2019t touch the water. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Cream the butter and the sugar until light, fluffy and creamy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Stir the cocoa and the coffee into the melted chocolate. Add this to the butter and egg mixture and combine well. Stir in the vanilla extract.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Add the biscuits, pistachios, almonds, halva, figs and loukoumi and mix well. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Remove from the fridge. Lay a long sheet of cling wrap on the work bench. Spoon the mixture onto the cling wrap in a large sausage shape, wrap tightly and roll to form a neat cylinder shape.
