If it’s taken us a little longer than usual to get the images from Saturday’s Guy Grossi event on the blog, we apologise. To be honest, we’re still recovering after we sampling the incredible meals Guy cooked for us the other day.<\/p>\n
Guy Grossi is\u00a0the chef behind some of Melbourne\u2019s most iconic restaurants, including Grossi Florentino, Merchant Osteria Veneta and Ombra Salumi Bar. His new cookbook, Recipes from my Mother’s Kitchen<\/em> is a celebration of home cooking, loaded with the kinds of meals Guy remembers from his childhood.<\/p>\n At Saturday’s event, we were lucky enough to watch Guy prepare three of his favourite traditional meals – Pumpkin Tortellini, Abbacchio\u00a0and\u00a0Nougat Semifreddo.\u00a0Guy also spoke about his career, shared a few tips and tricks – and, thanks to\u00a0Wusthof knives<\/a>, showed off his impressive knife skills!<\/p>\n Wish you were there?
